Chess is growing across the Treasure Coast, and students ages 5–17 will have the opportunity to come together for a day of chess, learning, sportsmanship, and friendly competition at the Atlantis Chess Tournament.
Hosted by Atlantis Chess Club, this FREE chess tournament welcomes elementary, middle, and high school students of all chess levels, including beginners and first-time tournament players.

All Chess Levels Are Welcome
Whether your child is just learning chess or already enjoys competing, they are welcome at the Atlantis Chess Tournament.
No previous tournament experience is required.
For each round, your child will be paired with another player at a similar chess level. After each match, they will be paired with a different player until all four rounds are complete.
For some students, this may be their first tournament. For others, it may be another opportunity to challenge themselves and continue growing as chess players.
Both belong at the chessboard.
More Than a Chess Game
At the chessboard, your child learns to focus, plan, and make thoughtful decisions.
Tournament play also gives students an opportunity to practice patience, sportsmanship, independence, and confidence while navigating real games against other players.
The experience is about more than the final result. It is an opportunity for students to play, learn, and grow through chess.
What Families Can Expect
From the moment your child arrives, our goal is to create a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable tournament experience.
Students will check in, prepare for their rounds, and compete throughout the day. Coaches and tournament support will be available to help guide the experience.
Families will have designated waiting areas where they can relax, enjoy light refreshments, get some work done, or observe the tournament.
Growing Chess Across the Treasure Coast
